PIERPONT — George Raymond Bealer, age 71, of Stateline Road, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 27, 2013, at his home.
He was born May 21, 1941, in Buffalo, N.Y., the son of Raymond and Lillian (LaFave) Bealer and had been a Pierpont resident for the past 40 years.
Prior to his retirement, he worked as a finisher for Creative Mold and Machine for 10 years and also was employed as an auto body repairman, a job for which he truly had a passion.
He enjoyed NASCAR, fishing, old time rock and roll, and taking care of his yard. He was also a true animal lover, caring for numerous pets over the years.
His survivors include his wife, Penelope (Robison) Bealer, whom he married Oct. 16, 1959; seven children, Robert Thomas Bealer of Jefferson, Marie (Reggie) Williams of Mississippi, Theresa (Gary) Deinhart and George Bealer Jr., both of New York, Gloria (Jerry) Benson of Texas, Francis (Tammie) Bealer of Kingsville and Jeffrey (Patty Croy) Bealer of Cleveland; 14 grandchildren; 9 great-grandchildren; one brother, Michael Mills of New York; four sisters, Patricia Stiles, Shirley Miller, Suzie Kuntz and Geraldine Panicali, all of New York; and numerous nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
A Celebration of Life gathering will be held 11 a.m., Today, March 2nd, at his son Robert Bealer’s home, 970 Jones Road, Jefferson, Ohio 44047. His son-in-law, Pastor Reggie Williams, will officiate.
