JEFFERSON — Myrna L. “Mickie” Boros, age 73, of Garfield Lane, Jefferson, Ohio, died Monday, July 16, 2012, at her residence.
She was born Jan. 30, 1939, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Albert and Laura (Zielski) Blatecky. On August 8, 1984 at the Bible Baptist Temple of Euclid, Ohio, Myrna and James Boros were married.
Six years ago, Myrna moved back to this area from Arizona. She worked for Globe Bell Inc. as a seamstress.
During her spare time, she enjoyed gardening, sewing, crafts and her mouse collection. She also loved her pet dog “Toby” and pet cat “Sugar B” dearly.
She is survived by her two daughters, Teresa A. Dickard of Winchester, Va., and Antonette Chiu; a son, Robert L. Dickard of Pierpont; sisters, Barbara A. (Dana) Showalter of Euclid, Laura J. Koeth of Saybrook and Louise E. Gast of Conneaut Lake, Pa.; a grandson, Max Swanson, and great-grandchild, Javian Swanson, both of Ashtabula; many loving nieces and nephews; and her long-time dear friend, Luann (Angelo) Rocco of Jefferson.
She was preceded by her parents; her husband, James Boros; a son, Thomas Dickard; and a grandson, Mathew Swanson.
A Grave Side Service will take place at Oakdale Cemetery on Monday, July 30th, at 11 a.m.
