ASHTABULA — Marjorie T. Hutchison, went home to be with her Lord on Saturday, Nov. 3, 2012, at Silver Sands Care Center, surrounded by her loving family.
Born Feb. 23, 1921, in Dante, Va., she was the daughter of the late John and Nellie Taylor. Marjorie was a United States Army Veteran of World War II. She served her country as a Registered Nurse in the military and was stationed in London during the Blitz Krieg.
Marjorie was a member of the Lighthouse Baptist Church and was very faithful to her church and her church family. She was an intelligent and strong willed woman, an avid reader, a great bowler, and in her spare time she enjoyed knitting afghans and doing crossword puzzles, but most of all, she enjoyed spending time with her children and grandchildren. She was such a caring mother and grandmother, being very supportive and influential in their lives.
She is survived by her daughter, Mary and her husband, L. Fred, Storm of Conneaut; her son, Jeffrey Hutchison of New York, N.Y.; granddaughters, Kathryn E. and Sarah A. Storm, both of Lancaster, Calif., and Abigail M. Storm of Conneaut; her sister, Nancy Bugge of Ashland, Va.; and Marjorie’s close and special friends, Betty Lynn, Terry and Jan Hamilton, and Pastor John Jones and his wife, Judy.
Marjorie was preceded in death by her parents; and several brothers and sisters.
At her request, there will be no services, cremation will take place.
