ASHTABULA — Clyde Ray Caudill, age 55, of Munson Hill Road, died Saturday, Feb. 6, 2010, at his home.


He was born June 16, 1954, in Ashtabula, the son of Lee and Imogene (Moore) Caudill and had been a lifelong Ashtabula resident.


A graduate of Ashtabula High School, he was the owner/operator of Tri-C Roofing Company prior to his retirement.


He enjoyed refinishing furniture, fishing, gardening, basketball, football and traveling. Clyde loved spending time with his son, family and friends and had a passion for having fun and living life to its fullest. He was also especially fond of dogs, especially his labs.


His survivors include his son, Matthew C. Caudill and his mother, Susan Dubach, both of Madison; his companion, Renee Foy; sisters, Sandra Caudill of Florida, Donna (Bud) Skaggs, Lola Hamilton and Kathy (Bill) Caudill-Smith, all of Ashtabula; brothers, Estill Caudill of Florida, Curtis (Rose Rogers) Caudill and Rodney (Karen) Caudill, both of Ashtabula; and numerous nieces and nephews.


He was preceded in death by two brothers, Edward and Freddie Caudill; one sister, Freda Caudill White; and his parents.


Service will be 12 p.m. Noon, Wednesday, Feb. 10th, at DUCRO FUNERAL SERVICES AND CREMATORY, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula, with the Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor of Pentecostal Church of God, officiating. Burial will be in Saybrook Cemetery.


Calling Hours will be from 6 to 9 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 9th, at the Funeral Home.
