Sunday, February 7, 2010

ANAHEIM, Calif. — Frank L. Mundi, age 67, of Anaheim, Calif., passed away Wednesday, Feb. 3, 2010, of natural causes.

Frank was born in Conneaut, Ohio, to Frank and Anna Mundy. After an adventurous childhood in Conneaut, he moved to Lawrence Park, Pa. with his wife, Patricia and raised their four children.

He started as a machinist at GE in Erie, Pa. He was coach for his children and an active member in the Indian Guides. After his divorce, he spent several years in Illinois, Michigan and Indiana.

He settled down with his second wife, Sheila, and step-daughter, Stacy, in Burleson, Texas, where he worked as a production foreman for Wynn’s Climate System and Oil. He often commented this was some of his favorite years. Following his second divorce, he moved to California to be near his children and grandchildren. He was an awesome grandfather, easily relating to his grandchildren. He also enjoyed bowling and golf.

Frank is survived by his children, Frank Jr., Carolyn, Mary, Joseph and Stacy; grandchildren, Brandon, Torilyn, Thomas, Sarah and Bailey; and his siblings, John Mundy, Kay Ann Brabender and Michael Mundi.

Any man can be a father. It takes someone special to be a dad.

Services will be 11 a.m., Wednesday, Feb. 10th, at MT. OLIVE - HARBOR LAWN MEMORIAL PARK AND FUNERAL HOME, in Costa Mesa, Calif.
