HOLLY, Mich. —
Howard James Henderson II, age 64, formerly of Conneaut, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, August 31, 2010, after a brave struggle with cancer.
The son of Howard James and Thelma (Weaver) Henderson, he was born Dec. 16, 1945, in Conneaut. He attended Conneaut High School and later moved to Texas, working as a meat dept. manager and cutter for Sam's Club.
As a young boy, he was proud to play on the Cleveland Indians team for the Little League in Conneaut. He always enjoyed being with family and friends, coming back home to Conneaut and sharing his great sense of humor.
He is survived by his children: Daughters, Elizabeth Mary Gleichner (Robert Mosier) of White Lake, Mich., Rebecca Ann Banks (Kevin Banks) of McKinney, Texas, and son, Howard James Henderson III (Vivian Henderson Esq.) of Virginia Beach, Va.; grandchildren, Nicole, Michelle and Michael Gleichner, Erica Mattison-Henderson, Sydney and Peyton Banks; great-grandson, Conner Runyon; sisters, Patricia A. Mitchell of Conneaut, Linda J. Rietz of Atlanta and Margaret E. Butcher of Conneaut; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers-in-law, Charles and Stanley; and two nephews.
At his request a Memorial Service will be at the convenience of his family.
