CLEVELAND — Jayne Margaret Morisue, age 39, of Jefferson, Ohio, died Monday, Nov. 12, 2012, at Kindred Hospital in Cleveland, Ohio.
The beloved daughter of Nicholas and Jayne Marie (Ashley) Visnosky, she was born on Nov. 15, 1972, in Ashtabula, Ohio, and had remained a longtime area resident.
A graduate of Ashtabula High School and Ashtabula County Joint Vocational School, she was self-employed until her illness forced her to retire.
She and her fiancé Edgar Johnson spent twenty years together. Through the ups and downs, they encouraged each other and their love continued to grow. Jayne loving referred to Edgar as her “husband”.
Jayne enjoyed horseback riding, reading, music and animals of any kind. Riding was her way of experiencing freedom from her worry and cares. She read anything from sci-fi novels, to love stories and current events, it did not matter what it was; Jayne would read it. An animal lover, she would help any stray she found. Her home was a haven for those creatures that were homeless.
Seven years ago Jayne was diagnosed with leukemia, she was determined that this was a battle she would win. Unfortunately, she won the battle with the disease, but the side effects of the many treatments she endured affected her body. Through all of this, she never gave up. A woman who always spoke her mind, there was never any question about what she had to say.
Jayne will be remembered for her strong will and determined outlook, her love for her family and friends, and her grace throughout her long journey.
Jayne is survived by her fiancé, Edgar Johnson; step-sons, Edgar Jr. and David Sr.; her beloved grandchildren, Caleb, David Jr., A.J., Isabella and Janessa; her siblings, Dianna Visnosky (Jeff Lautanen) and Joseph (Jennifer) Visnosky, both of Jefferson and Nicholas (Stephanie) Visnosky Jr. of Ashtabula; several nieces and nephews, Brooke, Tim, Matt, Nichole, Joe, Jasmine, Janey Sue, Josh, Jacob and Katarina.
She was preceded in death by her beloved son, Justin on Nov. 7, 2004; her mother, Jayne M. Visnosky on Nov. 8, 2010; and her father, Nicholas Visnosky on Sept. 6, 1987.
A Graveside Service will be held 12 p.m., Noon, on Monday, Nov. 19th, at Maple Grove Cemetery, Plymouth Township. The Rev. Kenneth Roberts, Pastor of Pentecostal Church of God, will officiate.
Calling Hours will be from 5 to 7 p.m. on Sunday, Nov. 18th, at DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 4524 Elm Ave., Ashtabula.
