CONNEAUT — Clarence C. Burlingham, age 77, went home to be with the Lord on Monday, Sept. 24, 2012.
Born in Conneaut, Ohio, on Dec. 29, 1934, he was the son of Glen and Oneita (Kelley) Burlingham and graduated from the Conneaut High School, Class of 1952. A Veteran, he enlisted in the U.S. Air Force, serving in the United States, Guam, Africa, Germany, Greece and Thailand.
Mr. Burlingham was a man of integrity, humble and honorable. He was very loving and devoted to his family. Clarence attended the Pentecostal Church of God.
He is survived by his loving wife of 57 years, Beverly (McCann) Burlingham; children, Ramona (Jim) Lauer, Joan (Mike) DeNunzio, Charles (Pam) Burlingham and Lisa (Mark) Heinonen, all of Conneaut and Catherine (Ted) Janson of Poquoson, Va.; grandchildren, Joel (Sarah) Lauer and Kristi (Jason) Tharp, Dionne DeNunzio, Mike (Angie) DeNunzio and Andrea DeNunzio, Chris and Tony Janson, April (Tim Szalai ) Burlingham, Chip Burlingham, Nikos (Lindsay) Burlingham Sr. and Markus (Alayna) Heinonen and Sandra (James Bowman) Heinonen; great-grandchildren, Ryan Lauer, Ava Tharp, Elora DeNunzio, Gavin and Cora Szalai, Nikos Burlingham Jr. and Lylah Bowman; and sisters, Rita Fuller and Janet (Walt) Cole.
He was preceded in death by his parents.
In keeping with his wishes, no services will be held. He will be buried at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
