CONNEAUT — Harriet Mary Mucci, age 90, of Conneaut, Ohio, died Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013, at her home following a brief illness.
Mary was born June 13, 1922, in Kingsville, Ohio, the daughter of Ignatius and Mary (Turenski) Rubleski.
Mary was a employed with the former Astatic for 25 years as a quality control inspector and she was a co-owner of the Rainbow Café.
She was a member of St. Mary/ St. Frances Cabrini Parish. Mary was a golfing enthusiast and an excellent golfer herself. She has had three holes in one, two at Windy Hill Golf Course and the other vacationing in Myrtle Beach, S.C. She enjoyed flowers and gardening. Mary loved spending time with her family and especially her grandchildren.
Mary was preceded in death by her parents; sons, Richard Baugher and William Baugher; two sisters, Ann Heagherty and Irene Dripan; and two brothers, Edward and Michael (in infancy).
She is survived by her husband, Arlo Mucci, whom she married in 1947, of Conneaut; two daughters-in-law, Joanna Baugher and Carol Baugher, both of Conneaut; grandchildren, Scott and Mia Baugher, both of North Carolina, Trevor Baugher of Texas and Jeffrey, Brian and Dan Baugher, all of Columbus, Ohio; and three great-grandchildren, Jacob, Hope and Drake Baugher.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 1 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 19th, at St. Mary Church, 480 State St., Conneaut, with Father John Summers and Fr. Phillip Miller concelebrating mass. Burial will follow at St. Joseph Cemetery, Route 20, Conneaut.
At Mary’s request, there will be no calling hours.
