KINGSVILLE — Lucille Ann Banfield, age 88, of Conneaut, Ohio, passed away Sunday morning, Nov. 4, 2012, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home in Kingsville, Ohio.
Born Feb. 27, 1924, in Wilkinsburg, Pa., she was the daughter of Irwin and Allie (Hillyer) Williams.
A West Springfield High School graduate and a member of the East Conneaut Baptist Church, Lucille enjoyed making cards, needle point and crafts that she made with her family. She enjoyed spending time with her family, especially her grandchildren, and her Thursday morning breakfasts with her siblings.
Survivors include her daughters, Patricia (Donald) Huston of Conneaut, Sandra (Alan) Lane of Jacksonville, Fla., and Cynthia (Wayne) Miller of Conneaut; her son-in-law, James R. Space of West Springfield, Pa.; her sisters, Barbara (Richard) Burge, Margaret Harold and Martha Smith; her brothers, David Williams, I. Donald (Marjorie) Williams and Robert Williams; grandchildren, Jason (Beth) Harrington, Sarah Harrington, Donna (Mike) McNeish and James (Lisa) Space; and great-grandchildren, Samantha and Dylan McNeish, and Jackson Harrington.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Harold W. Banfield; and her daughter, Linda Lou Space.
Funeral Service will be 10:30 a.m., Friday, Nov. 9th, at the MARCY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, with Pastor David Hines, of Kingsville First Baptist Church in Kingsville, officiating. Burial will follow in East Conneaut Cemetery.
Friends may call at the Funeral Home from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 8th.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family or to Hospice of the Western Reserve. Envelopes will be available at the Funeral Home.
