SAN ANTONIO, Texas — Clarice Jane Franklin, age 76, was born in Ashtabula, Ohio, on August 28, 1936. She entered Heaven’s gates on Saturday, Feb. 16, 2013.
A consummate mother, Clarice loved her children and grandchildren with all her heart and loved being around her family and friends.
In 1981, she began a career with Brundage Management and moved for them to San Antonio in 1991, and continued working until she retired in 2007. Those work relationships became lifelong friendships.
Clarice had an unwavering faith in God. She was a member of Community Bible Church where she participated in bible studies until her illness kept her from being able to attend.
Clarice never met a stranger who did not immediately become her friend and she never passed up an opportunity to talk about Jesus. Though the last 8 years of her life were very challenging, she always kept her sense of humor and never let a day go by without laughter being a part of it.
Clarice was preceded in death by her parents, Mildred and Carl Anderson; by her sisters, Arlene Easton, Donna Piper and Baby Diane; and by her brothers, Donald Anderson, Norman Anderson and Junior Anderson.
She is survived by a brother, Larry Anderson and his wife, Gloria; a daughter, Stacy Fredericksen and husband, Pete; and sons, Kevin Dillon and Craig Dillon. She is also survived by three grandchildren, Tyler Fredericksen, Seth Dillon and Ashley Dillon, who miss her dearly.
The family is having a Service Celebrating Her Life on Monday, Feb. 25th, from 10 to 11 a.m. There will be a reception immediately following.
