CLEVELAND — James W. Bagshaw, age 54, a resident of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Friday, July 6, 2012, at Metro Health Center, Cleveland, after strenuous efforts following a motorcycle accident.
Born July 20, 1957, in Chardon, Ohio, he was the son of Caroline M. Trimm and William J. Bagshaw and was a resident of Geneva for over 28 years, previously living in Lake County.
James was a member of Iron Worker Union Local #17 and a member of Prince of Peace Church, Mentor, Ohio. In his leisure time he loved poker, riding motorcycles and raising Alpaca’s.
He is the beloved husband of Karen Ann Bagshaw (née: Anderson); loving father of Don Anderson of Geneva, Lukas Bagshaw of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Miranda Bagshaw (deceased); son of William J. (Nancy) Bagshaw and Caroline M. (William D., stepfather) Trimm; brother of Nancy Bagshaw (Jeff) Gouch, Jennifer Bagshaw (Aaron) LaBoe, Lynn Bagshaw (Brad) Nicholson and Troy (Marie) Bagshaw; and several nieces and nephews.
The family will receive family and friends from 4 to 8 p.m. at the Prince of Peace Church, 7193 Reynold’s Road, Mentor, on Wednesday, July 11th.
Funeral Service will be 7 p.m. on Wednesday at the Church, with the Rev. Kenneth Sowers officiating. Burial will be private.
In lieu of flowers, donations in his name may be made in care of the family.
