AUSTINBURG TOWNSHIP — Martha A. (Fallat) Hanusosky, age 92, of Austinburg Township, Ohio, passed away Monday, June 25, 2012, at her residence surrounded by her family.
Born Jan. 25, 1920, to the late Walter and Susan Fallat, Martha was valedictorian of the Class of 1937 at Perry High School and a graduate of the Spencerian Business College. She was a 60-year resident of Mentor.
Martha was employed by Snap Out Forms, White Motors, Havens and Emerson, and Sears. Martha was also very involved in her husband’s business ventures.
She was an active member of St. Mary of the Assumption Church and a current member of Sacred Heart Church in Rock Creek.
Martha will be remembered for her gentle spirit, love of family and love of God. The family wishes to acknowledge Hospice of the Western Reserve and our private caregivers who enabled us to keep Martha in her home until her passing.
Martha is survived by her children, Mary Sue (Jerry) Lenhart of Valley City, Rita (Rich) Burns of Chardon and Elizabeth (Wayne) Howell Sr. of Austinburg Township; grandchildren, Kevin Lenhart, Matthew Lenhart, Shannon (Brian) Spellacy, Hale Burns, Elise (Jamie) Polli, Brooke (Michael) Marich and Wayne (Jennifer) Howell Jr.; and great-grandchildren, Cian, Nora, Gavin, Lilliana, Alexis and Celia.
She was preceded in death by her loving husband, Jim, who died March 4, 2005; and siblings, John, Walter, Theresa, Mary and Elizabeth.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Friday, June 29th, at St. Mary of the Assumption Catholic Church, 8560 Mentor Ave., Mentor, Ohio 44060. Please meet at church. Interment will be in Mentor Cemetery.
Family will receive friends 4 to 7 p.m., Thursday, June 28th, at BRUNNER SANDEN DEITRICK FUNERAL HOME & CREMATION CENTER, 8466 Mentor Ave., Mentor, Ohio.
