CLEVELAND — Shelva R. Craig, 75, of Cleveland, Ohio, died Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at University Hospital in Cleveland from pulmonary fibrosis.
Born Jan. 12, 1934, in Clarksburg, W.Va., the son of Jesse J. and Freda (Davis) Craig.
A Veteran of the Korean War and a Cleveland resident for the past 45 years, he was a member of the American Legion Post of Cleveland and a lifetime member of the N.R.A.
Survivors include his wife, Marian (Zappitella) Craig of Cleveland; a son, Thompson Craig of White Bluff, Tenn.; and nieces, nephews, many friends and his companion “Nickie”.
He was preceded in death by his son, Steven; parents; five sisters; and one brother.
Graveside Service will be 1 p.m., Monday, Nov. 23rd, in East Conneaut Cemetery, Conneaut, Ohio, with the Rev. Wesley McIntire, of the Conneaut Wesleyan Methodist Church, officiating.
