ASHTABULA — Florence R. Prisco, age 87, passed away Tuesday, Nov. 17, 2009, at the Drake Center in Cincinnati, Ohio.


Born in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of Cosmos and Laura (DiDonato) Lamm.


Florence was a seamstress for many years with Turk the Tailor where she worked with her father-in-law Turk and brother John. She also was a seamstress for Carlisle’s Dept. Store from where she retired. Florence was also member of Our Lady of Mount Carmel Catholic Church.


Survivors include her two sons, Dale (Lynette) Prisco of Westchester, Ohio and Dean Prisco of London, Ohio; grandchildren, Greg (Laura) Prisco, Leslie Prisco and Shelley Prisco; great-grandchildren, Marisa, Aidan and Kyle; sister, Lucille Lamm of Ashtabula; sister-in-law, Dolores Lamm of Ashtabula; and numerous nieces and nephews.


She was preceded in death by her husband, Anthony; and brothers, Anthony and John Lamm.


Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 21st, at Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, with the Rev. Joseph Ruggieri, presiding. Burial to follow at St. Joseph Cemetery.


Calling Hours will be from 9:30 to 10:30 a.m., Saturday, Nov. 21st, at the Ashtabula Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula.


In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Vitas Hospice Charitable Fund, 11500 Northlake Dr., Suite 400, Cincinnati, Ohio 45249. Arrangements are being handled by SILVA-HOSTETLER FUNERAL HOME, Barberton, Ohio.
