BREWTON, Ala. — Bobby L. Reynolds, formerly of Ashtabula, and a 45 year resident of Alabama, passed away on Sunday Oct. 11, 2009, in the loving presence of his wife and children, following a brief illness.


A four year Veteran of the USAF, Mr. Reynolds continued his 39 year career as a radar technician retiring as Chief of Navigation Aids at Fort Rucker, Ala.


After his retirement in 1995, he pursued his love of woodworking and in recent years became an active volunteer with the Greater Brewton Habitat for Humanity. He was a regular attendee of First United Methodist Church of Brewton. He was a member in good standing of the Clinton Lodge #287 of F&AM; in Skipperville.


Preceded in death by his parents, Celia and Emit Reynolds of Ashtabula.


Mr. Reynolds is survived by his wife of 45 years, Evelyn; his son, LTC Robert (Carol) Reynolds of Ft. Stewart, Ga.; two daughters, Becki (Terrence) Breckinridge of Brewton and Heather (Benny) Boyd of Columbus, Miss.; eight grandchildren; and friends too numerous to name. He is also survived by a brother, Frank (Priscilla) Reynolds of Geneva, Ohio; and sisters, Rosemary (Ron) Halman of Brentwood, Tenn. and Debbie (Bob) Carraher of Geneva, Ohio.


Services were held in Brewton, at Williams Memorial, on Thursday, Oct. 15th. Interment followed at 2 p.m., Saturday, Oct. 17th, at Lower Lott’s Creek Cemetery, Bulloch County, Ga.
