KINGSVILLE — Ann M. Nappi, age 78, of Conneaut, passed away Thursday, Nov. 12, 2009, at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home.
Ann was born Nov. 15, 1930, in Conneaut, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Ruth (Thompson) Dickinson. She was a 1948 graduate of Conneaut High School.
Ann worked for many years at the former Astatic Corporation and later the P & J Variety Store in downtown Conneaut. She was a member of the First Baptist Church in Conneaut, the American Legion, Conneaut Moose Club and Eagles Club.
Ann especially enjoyed walking with her friends, spending time with her family and performing volunteer work at the Conneaut Human Resource Center.
Ann was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Samuel in 1992; a brother, Dean Dickinson; and a sister, Jane Howard.
She is survived by her children, William Pennell of Conneaut, Tammy DiBendetto of Atlanta, Ga., Michael Nappi, David Nappi, Samuel Nappi, Vincina Helfinstein and LuAnn Champlan; 13 grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
Private Family Service will be held at 3 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14th, at the RAISIAN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut, with the Rev. John Singer officiating. Burial will take place at Greenlawn Memory Gardens.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Conneaut Human Resource Center. Envelopes are available at the funeral home.
