TUCSON, Ariz. — Retagene McNamara (Bailey), passed away on Monday, Nov. 9, 2009, in Tucson, Ariz.
She was born on June 8, 1920, to Hiram and Eva Bailey in Dorset, Ohio, one of four children.
She lived for 89 wonderful years. She was preceded in death by her husband, Robert J. McNamara of Ashtabula, Ohio, who died in 1984.
Retagene is survived by five children, John (Sally), Patrick (Susan), Timothy (Larry), Thomas (Kathryn) and Jean (Steve) Tkachyk. She also had 11 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
One of her greatest joys was spending time with her family and friends, all of whom knew her as Nana. In her later years she enjoyed the time she spent making greeting cards with her friends at The Cascades. Birthdays and holidays won't feel the same without her here, but her family is grateful for all the magnificent years they had with her. We love you Nana.
A Funeral Mass will be celebrated at St. Cyril Church, at Swan and Pima, TODAY, Nov. 14th, at 12:30 p.m.
