WESTERVILLE — Margaret “Peggy” Joanne Mauri, age 52, of Lakeland Drive, died on Monday, Nov. 2, 2009, at her home.


She was born August 1, 1957, in Ashtabula, the daughter of James and Dorothy (Campany) Weir and had been a Columbus area resident since 1995.


A 1975 graduate of Ashtabula High School, she was the business owner of “Maid from the Heart”.


Peggy enjoyed gardening, motorcycles, cooking, home improvement projects and wine tastings. A devoted mother, she loved spending time with her kids and being with her family, including her beloved dog, Louie. She was also a member of St. Paul Catholic Church in Westerville.


Her survivors include two children, Nicole and Alex Mauri, both of Westerville; her mother, Dorothy Washington of Ashtabula; one brother, David Weir of Ashtabula; two sisters, Anna Perkins and Jamie Mackynen, both of Ashtabula; her longtime companion, Tim Taylor of Columbus; and her friend and former husband, Dino Mauri.


She was preceded in death by her first husband, Robert Loeffel; one brother, Chris Weir; and her father.


A Celebration of Life Service will be 2 p.m., Saturday, Nov. 14th, at ZABACK-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula.


Visitation will be from 1 to 2 p.m., Saturday, prior to the Service.
