ASHTABULA — Margaret B. “Gram” Radwancky, age 96, formerly of North Bend Road, died on her favorite holiday, Halloween Saturday, Oct. 31, 2009, at Country Club Retirement Center.
She was born Dec. 18, 1912, in Cleveland, the daughter of Steve and Mary (Pozar) Dubics and had been an Ashtabula resident since 1930.
A homemaker and member of St. Joseph Church most of her life, she loved music, dancing the Charleston, cooking, but most of all spending time with her family and friends. She was known for her “Hunky Soup” and cabbage rolls.
Her survivors include five sons, Mick S. (Martha), Steve M., John E. (Connie) Radwancky, all of Ashtabula, Robert R. (Darlene) Radwancky of Irmo, S.C. and Joe C. (Noreen) Radwancky of Tampa, Fla.; numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren; and two brothers, Ray and John Dubics, both of Seward, Pa.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Mick; three brothers, Paul, Bob and Ernie Dubics; one sister, Florence at birth; and her parents.
A Graveside Service will be 10 a.m., Friday, Nov. 6th, at Saybrook Cemetery, with Deacon Rich Johnson, of St. Joseph Church, presiding. Burial will follow.
Calling Hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Nov. 5th, at ZABACK-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula.
