WILLOUGHBY — Juanita Sironen, age 73, a resident of Austinburg, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Oct. 27, 2009, at Lake West Hospital in Willoughby.
Born Jan. 9, 1936, in Boons Camp, Ky., the daughter of Clara (Mollette) and Earl Preston. She married Karl Sironen on Jan. 9, 1956.
She worked in housekeeping at UH-Geneva Medical Center. Juanita was a loving mother and friend to many and was always there with a piece of advice. She loved to travel back to Boons Camp, Ky. and visit the family farm. She loved her flowers and gardening.
She is survived by her daughter, Karla (Bill) Andrews of Geneva, Ohio; four sons, James T. (Susan) Quinn of Ashtabula, Ohio, Karl M. Sironen of Geneva, Ohio, Walter Sironen of Ashtabula, Ohio and Tod Sironen of Austinburg, Ohio; 14 grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; two sisters, Lexie L. Warner of Geneva and Norma L. Koblek of Austinburg; and a brother, Earl L. Preston of Jefferson.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Karl in 2008; daughter, Vickie Rose; son, Shilo Sironen; and granddaughter, Jennifer Petrowski.
Funeral Service will be 10 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 31st, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES & CREMATORY, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio, with Paul Brunsman officiating. Final Resting Place will be at Evergreen Cemetery, Geneva.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m., Friday, Oct. 30th, at the Funeral Home.
