HURLEY, N.Y. — David George Rzeszutek, age 54, of Conneaut, died suddenly of a massive coronary, Oct. 26, 2009, while working in Hurley, N.Y.
He was born June 27, 1955, in Conneaut, Ohio, the son of Edward J. Sr., and Gertrude A. (Adams) Rzeszutek. David was a 1973 graduate of Conneaut High School and graduated from Rhema Bible College in 1987.
He was an avid craftsman and always took pride in the things he restored or built. His hobbies included collecting antiques, comic books and playing his guitar “rather loudly” at times. He was a member of the Conneaut Church of God and the Conneaut Moose Lodge. He enjoyed being with his family and friends, especially his 6 year old cousin Maizy May Milliken and the “Friday” game with his nephews. David was a cancer survivor!
Survivors include his father, Edward J. Rzeszutek Sr. of Conneaut; his brother and sister-in-law, Edward Jr. and Melissa Rzeszutek of Monroe Township, Ohio; and three nephews, Caleb, Micah and Seth Rzeszutek.
He is preceded in death by his mother, Gertrude; two brothers at birth; and his grandparents, George and Marjorie (Benson) Adams.
Funeral Services will be 11:30 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 31st, at the Church of God, 5327 Center Road (St. Rt. 7), Conneaut, Ohio, with Pastor Carson Robson, officiating. Burial will be in Kelloggsville Cemetery, Monroe Township, at the convenience of the family.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of Service, Saturday, at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at the church and at MARCY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, which has charge of arrangements.
