JAMESTOWN, Pa. — M. Roger Money, age 74, of 2011 Livingston Road, Jamestown, Pa. (S. Shenango Township) died 10:55 p.m., Thursday, Oct. 22, 2009, at home, after an extended illness.
He was born Oct. 7, 1935, in Meadville, Pa., the son of Mark J. and Kathryn C. Jordan Money. He was a 1954 graduate of Pymatuning Joint High School and a U.S. Army Peacetime Veteran.
He retired in 2002 as a Process Engineer from Andover Industries after 43 years of service. Previously he worked at Blazon of Jamestown.
He attended Andover Christian Church and enjoyed fishing and hunting, woodworking, golfing, gardening, camping and traveling.
He is survived by his wife, Arlene Gault, whom he married April 16, 1993, at home; a son, M. James (and wife Donna) Money of Espyville, Pa.; three step-daughters, Dawn Bates and companion Josh Parkhurst of Jamestown, Pa., Bonnie Thompson Armour of Mesa, Ariz. and Connie Thompson Baumgardner of Bowling Green, Ohio; a step-son, Adam Bates and companion Billie Jo Davis of Greenville; a sister, Kathy Gregg of Middletown, N.H.; and four granddaughters, Mackenzie Bates, Lilly Parkhurst and Amanda and Jessie Glusic.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Mark J. and Kathryn C. Money; and a sister, Patricia Mullen.
Memorial Service will be 11 a.m., Saturday, Oct. 31st, at Andover Christian Church, Stilton Ave., Andover, Ohio, with Bob Gears, Senior Minister, officiating. Interment will be in Espyville Cemetery.
Family will receive friends from 10 a.m. until time of Service, Saturday, at the Church.
