CLEVELAND — Mary Clare Mosho (née: Powers), age 79 years, of Painesville, Ohio, passed away Saturday, Jan. 30, 2010, at University Hospitals of Cleveland.


Born Feb. 17, 1930, in East Pittsburgh, Pa., she was the daughter of the late Thomas and Catherine Powers (née: Hochtel) and the beloved wife of the late George Mosho, whom she married on June 17, 1950, in Turtle Creek, Pa.


Mary Clare was Credits and Claims Supervisor at Rockwell International in Wilkinsburg, Pa. Previous to this, she had been a telephone operator for many years at Bell Telephone in Pennsylvania.


She was a member of Peoples Church in Geneva, Ohio. She also was a volunteer for the Meals -On-Wheels program.


The loving mother of Linda (Ed) Kuntz of Painesville, Ohio, George (Vicki) Mosho of Shorewood, Ill., and David Mosho of Blairsville, Pa.; cherished grandmother of Melissa, Janice, Sharon, Justin and Brandon; and sister of Angela Ferri of Pennsylvania.


She was preceded in death by brothers and sisters, Catherine Hutchinson, Eleanor Treewasser, Thomas Powers and Edward Powers.


Family will received friends at the McMAHON-COYNE-VITANTONIO FUNERAL HOME, 6330 Center St., (Route 615, N. of Route 2), Mentor, Ohio, on Wednesday, Feb. 3rd, from 4 to 8 p.m.


Funeral Service will be 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Feb. 4th, at Trinity Baptist Church, 9225 Johnnycake Ridge Road, Mentor, Ohio, with Pastor Bob MacKay officiating. The family will receive friends Thursday from 10:30 a.m. until the time of service at the church. Final resting place will be Mt. Pleasant Cemetery, Geneva, Ohio.
