GENEVA — Steven Grandbouché, age 53, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Tuesday, Jan. 15, 2013.
Born in Ashtabula, Ohio, on July 18, 1959, Steven was a son of the late Joyce (Spencer) and Emil Grandbouché. He married Tina Brown on Sept. 20, 1986, in Madison, Ohio.
Steven attended Edgewood High School and was the owner and operator of Premier Siding for over twenty years. He was the current owner and operator of North Ridge Power and Equipment.
He prided himself in being a self-taught person in all he did. He enjoyed fishing, snowmobiling and four wheeling with his children. He especially enjoyed being able to repair old engines. Steven was a quiet person-keeping to himself, and enjoying walks in the woods to the pond. The most recent joy of his life was the birth of his granddaughter “Bella”. She brought many hours of joy to him during his illness. He was also proud of his “baby girl” Meaghan and had hoped to see her graduate from college. He will be dearly missed by his cat, “Puff”.
Steven is survived by his wife, Tina; daughter, Meaghan; daughter-in-law, Kristina Pape of Conneaut; granddaughter, Isabella Grandbouché of Conneaut; siblings, Pam (Larry) Smock of Benson Ariz., Buddy (Chris McVey) Grandbouché of Akron, Ohio, Judy (Dave) Dowler of Kingsville, Ohio, Lisa (Rick) Piaser of Ashtabula, Jason (Julie) Grandbouché of Ashtabula and Betsy Grandbouché of Fairport Harbor, Ohio; also several nieces, nephews, and great-nieces.
Steven was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Jody; and beloved son, Kyle Grandbouché on June 30, 2012.
Friends will be received 2 to 4 p.m., Saturday, Jan. 19th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva, Ohio. A Memorial Service will follow at 4 p.m. at the Funeral Home.
