ASHTABULA —
John L. Woods, age 90, of Lake Ave., Ashtabula, died Tuesday, July 17, 2012, at Ashtabula County Medical Center.
He was born Dec. 25, 1921, in Austinburg, Ohio, the son of George and Daisy (Herrick) Woods and had been a lifetime area resident.
He was employed with Truesdell Trucking for over 40 years until his retirement. He enjoyed National Geographic Magazines and the History Channel.
He was preceded in death by two brothers; and by his parents.
Graveside Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, July 20th, at Austinburg Center Cemetery, Route 45, Austinburg, with the Rev. Justin Smith, of Ashtabula First Church of the Nazarene, officiating.
The Ashtabula Home of FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 526 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula is in charge of arrangements.
