GENEVA —
Grace Audrey DeRosa, age 82, of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Saturday, July 21, 2012, at Geneva Village Retirement Center
She was born Oct. 14, 1929, in Geneva, Ohio, to Mary E. (Stowe) and Karl Russell. She married Leonard DeRosa in Cleveland, Ohio on Oct. 14, 1953.
Grace was a Nurse’s Aid Supervisor for 21 years at Geneva Health Care. She was a member of Assumption Catholic Church where she was active in the Altar and Rosary Society and Divine Mercy. She was involved with the Catholic Services Guardianship Program, the Geneva Senior Citizens and a member of the “Off Our Rockers” Band. Grace enjoyed camping, playing bingo and spending time with her grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Survivors include two daughters, Bernadette Augustine of Geneva and Sandy Twombly of Friedens, Pa.; two sons, Louis (Carol) Ventura of Geneva and Leonard Guy (Caril) DeRosa of Geneva; 15 grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren; sisters, Margie Russell of Florida and Harriet Davis of Andover; brothers, Eugene Russell of Geneva, Jerry Russell of Kingsville and Clayton Russell of Geneva-on-the-Lake; and several half brothers and sisters.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband, Leonard DeRosa Jr.; and brothers, Roy and Keith Russell.
A Funeral Service will be held 12 Noon, Tuesday, July 24th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOMES AND CREMATORY, 175 S. Broadway, Geneva. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery in Ashtabula.
Friends may call from 10 a.m. until time of Service at Noon, Tuesday, at the Funeral Home.
