Dennis G. Benton, age 58, died unexpectedly Friday, Sept. 28, 2012, at St. Joseph Hospital in Andover.
He was born March 21, 1954, the son of Jack E. and Shelly (Fassett) Benton. Dennis was married to Katherine (Kiss) Benton on May 25, 2006.
He was employed at Kennametal for the past 40 years. He was an avid outdoorsman who enjoyed hunting and fishing. He was a member of the National Rife Association and especially enjoyed spending time with his wife, children and grandchildren.
Survivors include his wife, Katherine; children, Dennis (Brandy) Benton, David (Kim) Benton, Cathy Benton, David (Becky) Pearce and Jenn Pearce; mother, Shelly Benton; siblings, Thomas, Jeff and Rex Benton; four grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his father, Jack Benton.
Visitation will be held from 5 to 7 p.m., Tuesday, October 2nd, concluded with a brief Prayer Service at 7 p.m., at PAINE-GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio.
