MADISON — Evelyn C. Fike, age 82, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 20, 2013, at her home in Madison, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born August 6, 1930, in Cleveland, to Muriel (Boyd) and James Micco.
Evelyn was a bus driver for Madison local schools, worked at Mentor schools, and was an active member of Immaculate Conception Church where she volunteered at the gift shop and Rosary Society. She also did volunteer work for the Auxiliary of UH-Geneva Medical Center. Evelyn enjoyed bowling and her time spent at the Madison Senior Center.
She is survived by her daughters, Carol (James) Owens Of Mentor, Teresa Kinat of Geneva and Peggy (George) Reed of Milford; sons, Charles Fike of Youngstown, James Fike of Painesville and Harry Fike of Mentor; 11 grandchildren; 19 great-grandchildren; and a brother, Donald (Dottie) Micco of Geneva-on-the-Lake.
She was preceded in death by her parents; brother, Edward Micco; and a son-in-law, Louis Ted Kinat.
Friends will be received from 5 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 28th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Friday, March 1st, at Immaculate Conception Church, 2846 Hubbard Road, Madison, with Fr. Sean Donnelly officiating. Final Resting Place will be at All Souls Cemetery in Chardon.
