JEFFERSON — Patricia Anne "Patty" Gray, age 24, of St. Rt. 307 West, Jefferson, died unexpectedly early Saturday morning, May 24, 2008, in Jefferson, from an unknown heart condition.
Born January 12, 1984, in Geneva, she was the daughter of Roger C. and Roberta J. (Askew) Gray, and has lived in Jefferson all of her life. She was a 2002 graduate of Jefferson Area High School, and attended Kent State University, Ashtabula branch.
The past three years she has been employed at Channel Products in Jefferson.
Patty led a full and enriched life. Her passion was her art, as she was always sketching; but being a kid at heart, she always enjoyed wasting time watching television and playing video games. She was a friend to everybody, a good listener and was a very gentle soul. She will be missed by those whose lives she has touched.
Survivors include her parents, Roger and Roberta Gray; six siblings, Katherine M., Jennifer L., Roger J., Robert T., Christopher S., and Jessica E. N. Gray; and her fiancée, whom she has been with the past six years, Patrick U. Baxley, all of Jefferson.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents.
Services will be 7:30 p.m., Thursday, May 29, at the Jefferson Home of the FLEMING & BILLMAN FUNERAL DIRECTORS, 49 W. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with the Rev. Fred Grimm of St. Paul's Lutheran Church officiating.
Visitation will be 5 to 7:30 p.m., Thursday at the funeral home.
