CLEVELAND — Kenneth William Bean, age 63, died Friday morning, July 13, 2012, in the Cleveland Clinic.
Born Aug. 22, 1948, in Buckhannon, W.Va., he was the son of Forrest and Hazel (Wilfong) Bean. A graduate of Ashtabula High School, he played softball for the former Spot Café, was an umpire for baseball, and a referee for volleyball.
A fire equipment technician, he was employed by Warren Fire Equipment.
Survivors include his wife, the former Lorraine Campagne; a daughter, Kamala Bean of Columbus; a son, Matthew Bean of Columbus; a son, Mark (Sara) Bean of Canal Fulton, Ohio; his mother of Geneva; sisters, Carol (Steve) Molly of Elyria, Sandy (David) Hall of Ashtabula and Barbara (Kent) Gard of Ashtabula; a brother, Robert (Patricia) Bean of Mississippi; and faithful grand-dog “Stitch”.
He was preceded in death by his father and infant daughter, Julie.
On Tuesday, July 17th, there will be a Gathering of Friends and Relatives from 2 to 4 p.m. at the GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 W. 19th St. in Ashtabula.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions can be made to the American Cancer Society or the American Heart Association.
