CONNEAUT — Corey M. Overly, age 22, of Conneaut, Ohio, died Tuesday, Sept. 25, 2012.
Born July 19, 1990, in Ashtabula, Ohio, he was the son of Anthony Overly and Denise (Farrell) Rogers.
Corey was a 2009 graduate of Edgewood High School and was employed at Presrite of Jefferson, Ohio.
He was a member of the Conneaut Eagles Club. In his teen years, Corey enjoyed racing dirt bikes and radio controlled cars, and riding motorcycles. Corey enjoyed being with his family and friends, but most of all he especially loved being with his daughter. Corey was a fun spirit, fun-loving young man. He touched the hearts of many with his laughter and will be missed by many.
Survivors include his father of Conneaut; his mother of Erie, Pa.; his daughter, RileyAnne Overly; his brother, Cody Overly of Erie, Pa.; his grandparents, Sheila Kaseman of Kingsville, Ohio, and Mike and Paula Overly of Andover, Ohio; and great-grandparents, Shirley Moore of Kingsville and Owen Overly of Andover.
He was preceded in death by his grandfather, David Farrell; and great-grandparents, John and Dorothy Cico, Walter Moore and Virginia Overly.
Calling Hours will be Friday, Sept. 28th, from 12 p.m., Noon, till 2 p.m. and 5 to 7 p.m. at the MARCY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut. A brief Memorial Service will follow the evening Calling Hours.
