PARMA — Joan L. Palmer (née Braski), age 80, of Parma, Ohio, died Friday, June 8, 2012, at Pleasant Lake Villa in Parma, Ohio.
Joan was born Oct. 1, 1931, in Perry, Ohio, the daughter of Bernie and Lillian Braski.
Growing up in Perry, Ohio, she was one of three siblings. She attended Bethany Lutheran Church. She attended Swamee College and received her bachelor of arts degree from Bowling Green State University.
Joan was preceded in death by her husband, Charles F. in 1997. In addition, she was preceded in death by her parents; her sister, Jane Randolph; and brother, Paul Braski.
Joan is survived by her two children: daughter, Jennifer (Bill) Stilson of Solon, Ohio, and son, Charles C. of Columbus, Ohio. Her four grandchildren, Samantha Marie, Ryan Charles, Adam William and Elizabeth Lillian, all of Solon, Ohio. She is also survived by her dearest cousin, Mary Ellen Lehtoma and nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services will be held at 1 p.m., Friday, June 15th, at Parma Evangelical Lutheran Church, 5280 Broadview Road, Parma, Ohio 44134, with Pastor Donald Frantz officiating. Burial will be at Brooklyn Heights Cemetery, Cleveland, Ohio.
