RUSKIN, Fla. —
Willa J. Funck, age 90, formerly of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Wednesday, Feb. 1, 2012, at the home of her daughter in Ruskin, Fla.
She was born August 28, 1921, in Wheldon, Ohio. On June 20, 1942, she married William R. Funck. He passed away August 21, 2011. After living in Geneva for 46 years, Willa and William moved to Ruskin, Fla., in 2006 to live with their daughter.
Willa was an Executive Secretary most of her life. She was a wonderful mother and friend.
She was a member of Eastern Star, Literary Club and several bridge clubs. She loved playing bridge and golf.
Survivors include two sons, Bob and Jim Funck; her daughter, Kathy Wright; seven grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.
There are will be no services.
Donations may be made in her name to LifePath Hospice, 3725 Upper Creek Drive, Ruskin, Fla. 33573.
