SAYBROOK TOWNSHIP — Edward E. Miller, age 57, of Saybrook Landing Health and Rehabilitation, Saybrook Township, Ohio, passed away on Saturday, August 11, 2012, at the Ashtabula County Medical Center.
Born in Pennsylvania, he was a graduate of Meadville High School, Class of 1974. Ed was a former resident of Gulf and Lakeview Towers.
Ed worked at Conneaut Lake Park as a ride operator with his father Raymond. He also delivered the Star Beacon newspaper to the Towers residents.
Ed’s joys were calling and playing BINGO, roller coasters, eating out, races and just being alive. Although he was ill a lot, he always kept smiling. He was a kidney recipient for 16 years and loved animals, especially his dog “Ginger”, a Manchester Terrier.
He is survived by his Aunt and cousins in Meadville, Pa., and is sadly missed by his adoptive mother, Pat Montgomery of Ashtabula.
Burial will be held at the convenience of the family in Harmonsburg, Pa.
