MADISON — Joyce M. Burgess, age 55, of Madison, Ohio, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at University Hospital.
She was born May 25, 1957, in Cleveland, Ohio.
Joyce worked at the Madison YMCA as night supervisor in housekeeping.
Survivors include her daughter, Janice (Bill) Blackie of Ashtabula; sons, Joshua (Melanie) Stewart and Jacob Stewart Lawson, both of Madison and Justin Lawson of Geneva; brothers, David Burgess of Texas and Steve Burgess of Florida; sisters, Tresa Lawson of Madison and Tami Bolesic of Painesville; and seven grandchildren and one on the way.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Gordon and Nyda Burgess; sisters, Nyda Ann Gallitto and Janet Burgess; and a brother, Jeffry Burgess.
Funeral Service will be 8 p.m., Tuesday, Feb. 12th, at POTTI FUNERAL HOME, 2726 Hubbard Road, Madison, where friends will be received from 2 to 4 and 6 to 8 p.m. on Tuesday.
