ASHTABULA — Rose Marie Esposito, age 88, of Ashtabula, died Monday evening, Feb. 4, 2013, at Saybrook Landing Nursing Home.
Born Aug. 7, 1924, in Ashtabula, she was the daughter of James and Kate (Hanson) Porcello. Rose graduated from Harbor High School class of 1943 and was married to William Esposito on Oct. 30, 1949, in Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church in Ashtabula.
Rose worked at Ward Products as a floor walker. Mrs. Esposito was a very loving and caring woman. She was always very active in her children’s PTA at school with her best friends Alda Ray, Lillian Goudy and Elma Ballo. She will be sadly missed by her family and friends.
Survivors include her son, William (Francine) Esposito of Ashtabula; daughters, Catherine and Luann Esposito, both of Ashtabula; and grandson, “Brutis” her Yorkie.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, William in 1985; and many aunts, uncles and cousins.
The family would like to thank the staff of Park Haven, Saybrook Landing and Hospice of the Western Reserve.
Funeral Mass will be celebrated 10 a.m., Saturday, Feb. 9th, in Our Lady of Peace Parish, Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church, with burial to follow in Saint Joseph Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 5 to 7 p.m., Friday, at GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 1550 W. 19th St., Ashtabula.
