JEFFERSON — Arthur Elliott, age 70, of Jefferson, Ohio, passed away Monday, Feb. 4, 2013.
Born Sept. 29, 1942, in Painesville, Ohio, he was the son of the late Cora Mildred (Goldsmith) and Arthur James Elliott.
A Veteran, he was a dog handler/trainer and expert marksman in the U.S. Army serving in Korea. Arthur had worked at Coe Manufacturing in Painesville, True Temper in Geneva and most recently for RMI in Ashtabula.
He loved being outdoors hunting and fishing.
He is survived by his sons, Brian (Barb) Elliott of Ashtabula and Steven Elliott of Conneaut; grandchildren, Leona Rodabaugh, Brianna Elliott and Katie Elliott; sister, Martha Saatjian of Santa Barbara, Calif.
He was preceded in death by his parents and sister, Mildred Johnson Edwards.
Friends will be received 6 to 8 p.m., Thursday, Feb. 7th, at THE BEHM FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 26 River St., Madison, Ohio. Private family services will be held at Perry Cemetery.
