CONNEAUT —
Erland Martin Jarvi, age 70, of Conneaut, Ohio, passed away Thursday, August 30, 2012, at UH-Conneaut Medical Center.
He was born July 31, 1942, in Conneaut, Ohio, to Henry and Sigrid (Leppella) Jarvi. Erland attended Rowe High School and worked in home improvements. He liked fishing and loved reading and listening to 1940’s music. He always had a kind word and smile, and enjoyed helping people.
He is survived by his nephews, Gene, Henry, Doug, Jeff, Greg, David, Bill and Paul; and nieces, Becky, Lori and Diane.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brothers, Richard, Henry and Robert; and his sister, Eleanor.
Private services will be held at the convenience of the family.
Memorial contributions may be made to the C.L.Y.O. Envelopes are available at MARCY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut, Ohio, which has charge of arrangements.
