ANDOVER —
Kathleen V. Taylor, age 82, of Andover, Ohio, died Tuesday, August 28, 2012, at UPMC Horizon Hospital in Greenville, Pa.
She was born June 15, 1930, in West Middlesex, Pa., a daughter of Lucy and Roger Mitcheltree. She was a 1948 graduate of West Middlesex High School and she graduated as a Registered Nurse from Sharon General School of Nursing in 1951.
An Andover resident since 1969, Mrs. Taylor owned the Andover Dairy Queen for forty-two years.
Mrs. Taylor married Donald G. Taylor on March 15, 1952 and he preceded her in death on July 6, 1993. She was also preceded in death by her son, Roger W. Taylor on Sept. 8, 1988; two sisters, Nancy E. Keck and Patricia J. Mitcheltree; and a brother, Richard B. Mitcheltree.
Survivors include her daughter, Karen E. Taylor of Richmond, Ohio; two sons, Kevin B. Taylor of Jefferson, Ohio and Mark A. Taylor of Painesville, Ohio; nine grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
At Mrs. Taylor's request, cremation will take place and a private interment of her cremated remains will take place in West Andover Cemetery in Andover, Ohio.
