Natalee Norris Hendershott Cook, age 83, of Orwell, Ohio, died Thursday, August 26, 2010.
She was born June 4, 1927, in Willoughby, Ohio, the daughter of William Donald and Maude (McLeod) Norris. She attended Baldwin Wallace College and was inducted into the Willoughby H.S. Sports Hall of Fame in 1997.
She was employed by Orwell Printing Co. from 1971-1989.
Natalee was a member of Orwell United Methodist Church. An avid sports enthusiast and devoted mother, her passions were her family, the Cleveland Indians, bowling and her friends.
Survivors include her daughter, Cheryl (Tom) Dole of Columbus; sons, Donald (Frances) Hendershott of Lordstown and David (Margie) Hendershott and Bill (Janine) Cook, both of Orwell; sisters, Jeanne Warburton and Janet Holloway, both of North Canton; sister-in-law, Donna Drakides of Champion; brother-in-law, Gene Hendershott of Sun City, Calif.; grandchildren, Brian Chad (Christine) Gaines, Christopher (Nickie) Gaines, Joshua (Lonni) Hendershott, Kevin (Blancha) Hendershott, Tommy Dole, Darrell Satterfield, Michael Satterfield, Brittany Satterfield and Joe Satterfield; great-grandchildren, Logan, Austin, Connor, Brady, Kaitlin, James, Matt, Doug and Billy; and many nieces, nephews and friends.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husbands, Calvin Hendershott and Richard Cook; and a daughter, Lori Hendershott Takacs.
Funeral Service will be held 12 p.m. Noon, Wednesday, Sept. 1st, at Orwell United Methodist Church, 80 S. Maple St., Orwell, Ohio.
Visitation will take place from 10 a.m. until time of Service, Wednesday, at the Church.
In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Orwell United Methodist Church, P.O. Box 275, Orwell, Ohio 44076. Services are being handled by PAINE-GUERRIERO FUNERAL HOME, 140 E. Main St., Orwell, Ohio.
