ASHTABULA —
Margaret “Maggie” Marie Reo, age 11, died Thursday, June 29, 2012, at her home in Ashtabula.
Maggie was born Oct. 25, 2000, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Vincent and Desiree’ (Eartly) Reo.
During Maggie’s life, she loved to laugh and giggle with her Sesame Street toys. Elmo was her favorite. She loved all the talking characters and being read to. She also loved when her dogs would howl. Her two dogs, “Blackie” and “Maggie the Dog” gave her much joy and she liked the many rides in her wheelchair.
Her family and caregivers would often refer to Maggie as “one of God’s innocent children”.
Maggie was preceded in death by her mother, Desiree’ Reo in 2009; an infant sister, Angela in 1995; maternal grandparents, Darryl and Margaret Eartly; paternal grandfather, Anthony “Tony” Reo; and uncles, Darren and Darryl Jr. Eartly.
Maggie is survived by her father, Vincent Reo of Ashtabula; paternal grandmother, Filomena “Phil” Reo of Conneaut; sister, Gabriele Reo of Ashtabula; uncles, David Eartly of Geneva and Anthony “Tony” Reo Jr. of Concord, Ohio; aunts, Lucille Allen of Sarasota, Fla. and Danita and Buster Eartly Fiacco of Binghamton, N.Y.; and several great-aunts, great-uncles and cousins.
Mass of the Christian Burial will be celebrated 10 a.m., Friday, July 6th, at St. Frances Cabrini Church, 744 Mill St., Conneaut, with Fr. Philip Miller, of St. Mary/ St. Frances Cabrini Parish, officiating. Burial of Maggie’s ashes will take place at the convenience of the family at St. Joseph Cemetery, Ashtabula.
Memorial contributions may be made to the family. Envelopes will be available at RAISIAN FAMILY FUNERAL HOME, 581 Harbor St., Conneaut, where arrangements are being handled or at the Mass on Friday.
