CLEVELAND — William M. Armstrong III, age 54, of Ashtabula, Ohio, passed away unexpectedly on Tuesday, Oct. 16, 2012, at the Cleveland Clinic.
Born on July 11, 1958, in Ashtabula, he was the son of William Melvin and Josephine Elizabeth (Leonard) Armstrong Jr. and had been a lifelong area resident. He attended both Ashtabula and Harbor High School.
William worked as a set-up man in the punch press department for Iten Industries from 1985 to 2011, when he had to stop working for medical reasons.
He enjoyed reading any science fiction book and playing computer games, especially World of Warcraft.
His survivors include two sisters, Margaret (Robert) English and JoDee Armstrong, both of Taylor, Mich.; and five nieces and nephews, Scott (Karen), Julie (Gary), Joseph, Kyle and Loree; great-nephew, Andrew; and great-niece, Raven.
He was preceded in death by one sister, Beth Brownlee; his father, William Armstrong; and his mother and step-father, Josephine and Clayton Westlake.
It was his wish that no calling hours be observed.
Celebration of Life Services will be held at a later date.
