ASHTABULA —
Eva Mae Keene (Vance), age 65, passed away peacefully at her home early Friday morning, August 17, 2012, surrounded by her loving family.
She was born March 8, 1947, in Caldwell, W.Va., the daughter of Frank Wardell and Clara Vance. She was a resident of Ashtabula for most of her life and a graduate of Ashtabula Harbor High School.
She was employed and retired from Reliance Electric, where she met some of her lifetime friends. Eva enjoyed being outside and gardening around her home. She also enjoyed her only beloved granddaughter, Jenna, who she loved to play with and photograph. There was nothing more important to her than her family and pets.
Survivors are her mother, Clara Vance of Ashtabula; son, Dale (Julie) Keene of Ashtabula; brother, Frank (Anita) Vance of Plymouth, Ohio; two sisters, Shirley Vance and Rebecca (Victor) Cardona, both of Ashtabula; and one granddaughter, Jenna Paige Keene.
Eva was preceded in death by her father, Frank Wardell Vance; her husband of 46 years, Franklin; and a sister, Bonnie (Vance) Brenwald.
Funeral Services will be held 11 a.m., Tuesday, August, 21st, at POTTI LAKESIDE FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE, 1329 Lake Ave., Ashtabula, with the Rev. Kenneth Roberts officiating. Entombment will follow in Greenlawn Memory Gardens in North Kingsville.
Calling Hours will be from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, at the Funeral Home.
