CONNEAUT —
Alice Ann Marinchak, age 68, of Dibble Road, passed away on Friday, April 20, 2012, at UH-Conneaut Medical Center.
She was born Sept. 25, 1943, in Cleveland, Ohio, the daughter of Charles and Henrietta V. (Juptner) Ackley and had been an area resident most of her life.
A 1961 graduate of Ashtabula High School, she was a true animal lover and devoted pet parent to many special friends. She enjoyed bingo, camping and spending time with her kids and grandkids. But more than anything, she was devoted to her husband, having never been separated from him for more than a few hours during their 43 years of marriage.
Her survivors include her husband, James Marinchak, whom she married Nov. 30, 1968; three children, Rebecca (Robert) Headley, Charles (Kim) Marinchak and Scott Marinchak; step-son, James R. Marinchak; six grandchildren, Jeremy, Zach, Dakoda, Austin, Connor and Kamryn; and her sister, Angela Ackley of Ashtabula.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A Memorial Service will be held 4 p.m. on Friday, April 27th, at the ZABACK-DUCRO FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION SERVICE, 500 W. Prospect Road, Ashtabula. The Rev. Fr. Joseph Ruggieri will preside. Burial will be in St. Joseph Cemetery at a later date.
No calling hours will be observed.
