CONNEAUT —
Patricia A. Mucci, age 68, of Conneaut, Ohio, died Friday evening, June 22, 2012, with her family by her side at the Ashtabula County Nursing Home in Kingsville, Ohio, following a lengthy battle with cancer.
She was born Sept. 25, 1943, in Athens, Ga., the daughter of Cecil and Merle (Cochran) Brock. She was a graduate of Strong Vincent High School in Erie and had been a Conneaut resident since 1964.
She worked in production at the G.E. Base Plant in Conneaut for 30 years.
She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, doing needlework, reading and playing computer games. Her real passion was spending time with her grandchildren.
Survivors include her daughter, Tracy Mucci of Hyattsville, Md.; son, Brian (Kris) Mucci of Conneaut; three grandchildren, Logan Mucci, Kira Mucci and Sebastian Porras; two sisters, Beverly (Kerry) Poulter of Mooresville, N.C. and Shirley (Jeff) Caldwell of Erie, Pa.; a brother, Tom (Becky) Brock of Erie, Pa.; and nieces, nephews and more distant relatives.
She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, James in 2011; and two sisters, Sheila Brock and Linda St. John.
There will be no funeral service; however Calling Hours will be held from 6 to 8 p.m., Monday, June 25th, at MARCY FUNERAL HOME AND CREMATION CENTER, 208 Liberty St., Conneaut.
Memorial contributions may be made to Hospice of the Western Reserve. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
