HARPERSFIELD TOWNSHIP —
Twila M. Ferry, age 83, of Brandt Road, Harpersfield Township, died Wednesday August 29, 2012, at her home.
She was born Oct. 25, 1928, in Painesville, Ohio, the daughter of Wallace R. and Mildred (Sheldon) Bartlett. Twila was a 1946 graduate of Ashtabula High School and attended Oberlin Business School. She enjoyed her friendships and gathering with her Ashtabula High classmates the “Lunch & Bunch”.
She had worked at Iten Fiber and as a Patient Rep. at Ashtabula County Medical Center. She was a former member of the Congregational Church in Ashtabula. She was head of the Campfire Girls in Geneva for many years. She enjoyed and was an active member of the Geneva Senior Citizen’s Band “Off Our Rockers”.
Surviving her are three daughters, Susan (Michael) Winters of Cuyahoga Falls, Ohio, Linda Routzahn of Venus, Pa. and Kathy (Patrick) Arnold of Harpersfield; four grandchildren, Michael D. Winters II, Erin Routzahn, Kimberly (Roger) Bentley and Ashley Roth; and three great-grandchildren, James, Katie and Julie Bentley.
She was preceded in death by her parents; and her husband, William in 1985.
At the family’s request graveside services will be held at the convenience of the family.
