JEFFERSON — Mrs. Frances L. Radabaugh, age 74, passed away Thursday, Feb. 7, 2013, at Hillcrest Hospital.
She was born Jan. 7, 1939, in Painesville, Ohio and had resided in Jefferson since 1986, previously residing in the Austinburg-Geneva area.
She was an active member of St. Joseph of Calasanctius Catholic Church in Jefferson, where she volunteered for many activities within the church. She also enjoyed gardening, visiting many area libraries reading and researching her family genealogy. She also enjoyed feeding and watching the birds in her yard and especially spending time with her family.
She was a 1957 graduate of Madison Memorial High School and attended Heidelberg College and Mt. Sinai College of Nursing. She worked for twenty years at SCM Plant 2 in Ashtabula.
She is survived by her husband of 54 years, Donald "Jack" Radabaugh whom she married Oct. 3, 1959 at Grace Lutheran Church in Thompson; daughters, Michelle Dunaway of Richmond, Ky. and Marsha (Doug) Starkey of Geneva, Ohio; grandchildren, Zachary and Andrew "A.J." Dunaway and Tony and Kate Starkey; and her brothers, James E. Marshall Jr. of Panama City, Fla. and Michael Marshall of Zephyr Hills, Fla.
Mrs. Radabaugh was preceded in death by her parents, James E. Marshall Sr. and Ellen Leona (Long) Marshall.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 9 p.m., Monday, Feb. 11th, at JOHNSON FUNERAL HOME, 368 Mentor Ave. (opposite Lake Erie College), Painesville.
Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated 11 a.m., Tuesday, at St. Joseph of Calasanctius Catholic Church, 32 E. Jefferson St., Jefferson, with the Rev. Charles Poore officiating. Please meet at the church. Interment will take place in Maple Grove Cemetery, Thompson, Ohio.
