YOUNGSTOWN — Sharon L. Buterbaugh, age 63, of Williamsfield, Ohio, died Thursday, March 11, 2010, at St. Elizabeth Health Center in Youngstown, Ohio.
She was born Feb. 24, 1947, in Warren, Ohio, a daughter of James A. and Elsie M. (Racey) Wilcox Sr. A lifetime area resident, Mrs. Buterbaugh was a 1965 graduate of Pymatuning Valley High School in Andover.
She was a lifetime member of the Ashtabula County Antique Engine Club and she enjoyed doing ceramics, flower gardening, listening to 50s music and she loved animals.
Mrs. Buterbaugh is survived by her husband, Lloyd W. "Butch" Buterbaugh, whom she married Nov. 7, 1965 of Williamsfield; son, James L. (Vivian) Buterbaugh of Wayne Township, Ohio; daughter, Emily L. Stull of Chardon, Ohio; her father, James A. Wilcox Sr. of Wayne Township, Ohio; two brothers, Robert (Sherida) Wilcox of Dorset, Ohio and James Wilcox Jr. of Middlefield, Ohio ; two sisters, Sandra (Arl Lee) Giddings of Wayne Township, Ohio and Shirley Garvey of Wayne Township, Ohio; two grandchildren, Kyle (Taytum) Slusher and Kelly (Lee) Steffey; and five great-grandchildren, Austin, Hayley, Vincent, Allyson and Jordyn.
She was preceded in death by her mother, Elsie; grandmother, Ellen D. Smith; and a brother, Donald Wilcox.
Funeral Service will be 11 a.m., Monday, March 15th, at BAUMGARDNER FUNERAL HOME, 134 Prospect St., Andover, Ohio, with Pastor Jason Hockran officiating. Burial will follow in Williamsfield Center Cemetery.
Calling Hours will be from 2 to 4 p.m. and 6 to 8 p.m., Sunday, March 14th, at the Funeral Home.
