GENEVA — Ward L. Luther, age 83, a resident of Geneva, Ohio, passed away Saturday, March 6, 2010.
Born Nov. 16, 1926, in Geneva, he was a son of the late Ione (Scoville) and George B. Luther. He was a 1946 graduate of Geneva High School. On May 8, 1990, he married Susan Hayhurst in Geneva.
He worked with his father at Lake Erie Milling and enjoyed fishing and woodworking.
Survivors include his wife, Susan Luther of Geneva; three daughters, Peggy Colby of Flatwoods, Ky., Lisa Marie (Richard) Schroeder and Kristi Ann (Gerry) Martin, both of Geneva; nine grandchildren; three great-grandchildren; a brother, George (Sandy) Luther of Eastlake; and two sisters, Dorothy (Dick) Duncan and Evelyn (Bill) Calhoon, both of Geneva.
He was preceded in death by his parents; two grandchildren; and his first wife, Jeanie.
Private Services were held. Final resting place is Fairview Cemetery.
